Sports for Health
Girls' Football Team Sport at TLC as been used not only as a tool for developing talents but as a conduit for promoting HIV/AIDS prevention awareness, development of life skills, conflict mitigation, as means for bridging political and tribal divides thus promoting community cohesion, gender inclusion and mobilization of communities for development. Objectively sports has been used mainly to act as an entry point to initiate HIV/AIDS prevention discussions among the youth and children who are the target beneficiaries of the KCCC youth program.

These are implemented mainly under the Treasure Life youth Centre (TLC), which is an educative, informative, and skills-building, and recreation centre for youth, women, adolescents, children, and families in and around Kamwokya and at its affiliate, the All Stars Sports Academy (ASSA), a football initiative set up under KCCC's Youth Programme. The academy facilitates identification and development of sport specific talents among youth and helps development of sporting literacy and basic sporting skills among local sport ventures The academy runs weekend and holiday soccer training clinics involving both boys and girls.
